I Will Build My Church (Matthew 16:18)

Overcoming a Bad Beginning (Luke 2:27)

Pastor Cameron begins looking at our fifth dwelling place, Herod's temple. We see that Herod build this temple with bad motivations and looking for self-glory, yet God overcame that to make this temple that Jesus Himself walked in on earth!

The Glory that Is Coming Is Greater than that which Is Lost (Haggai 2:9)

Although the Restoration Temple paled in comparison to Solomon's, the prophet Haggai declared the glory of this temple would be greater than that of the former. God always saves the best for last, as Pastor Cameron shares on today's episode - the glory that is coming is greater than that which is lost!

Prophetic Encouragement (Ezra 5:1)

On today's podcast, Pastor Cameron discusses the importance of the prophetic. It was the words of Haggai and Zechariah that encouraged the Jews to overcome opposition and complete the work God had called them to do, and we still need to be reminded that it's not by might or power, but by God's Spirit that we can be successful. 

Overcoming Opposition (Ezra 4:24)

Opposition arose to the Jews as the attempted to rebuild the temple - in the face of this conflict, they stopped building and grew complacent. Join Pastor Cameron for today's podcast, as he reminds us we must be willing to continue building a dwelling place for God in the face of opposition. 

Rebuilding the Altar (Ezra 3:1-3)

The first thing the Jews did upon returning to Jerusalem was to rebuild the altar - this reminds us of the need to keep prayer and worship as the first priority in all of our service to the Lord. Pastor Cameron encourages us to make prayer the foundation of our personal life, family, and ministry. 

Stirred Up (Ezra 1:5)

Pastor Cameron begins discussing the Restoration Temple, seeing that those who returned to Jerusalem had their spirits stirred up by God. They didn't go simply of their own initiative, but responded to God's call - to be His dwelling place we must always ask Him to stir our hearts and draw us to Himself.
