David's older brother Eliab scolded him for his interest in fighting Goliath - Eliab saw David as a simple, proud shepherd boy. David wasn't interested in these squabbles, but was focused on defeating Goliath, as Pastor Cameron shows us today. 

The Fear of Goliath (1 Samuel 17:11)

On today's episode, Pastor Cameron begins a new focus in our study of David and Solomon - "David the Giant-Slayer." When Goliath first came to challenge the Israelites, Saul and his soldiers were paralyzed by fear, focusing on the giant instead of the Lord.

Righteousness is a key component to reigning with Christ, as Pastor Cameron reminds us today. David had integrity in his heart that led to his promotion. 

Wisdom (Proverbs 8:17)

On today's episode, Pastor Cameron encourages us to seek the Lord for wisdom! The wisdom David learned as a shepherd qualified him to be chosen as a king.
