The Spirit vs. the Flesh (2 Samuel 3:1)

On today's podcast, Pastor Cameron contrasts the house of David with the house of Saul. As the two houses jostled for control of Israel, David gradually became stronger while Saul's line gradually became weaker, just as those who follow the Spirit will always prevail in the end over those who follow the flesh.

On today's episode, Pastor Cameron shares the story of David, Nabal, and Abigail. Nabal was a foolish man who's impudent actions almost led David to kill him and his house, but the grace and wisdom of Abigail saved David from taking this vengeful action. 

David Refused to Take Revenge and Saul (1 Samuel 24:2-7)

While Saul was chasing David with an army of 3000 men, David had a chance to kill Saul and assume his throne. David refused to take vengeance, however, and let Saul go, as Pastor Cameron discusses on today's episode.
